I havnt written for sometime and feel this need to do a year catch up

This year has been the busiest year but we have met some wonderful people along the way . Jay became Mayor in may of last year 2017 -2018 so it’s been so busy and our schedule as a couple has increased. My fatigue has been very much out of control and I have had to rest to maintain my energy. Generally I just needed to pace myself and take time out and rest occasionally. My health has increasingly been frustrating but it’s one of those things . I get up and start the day and think for that day but it’s always with a struggle but most days I have to stay positive . I will give an update of events that we have undertaken throughout the year which will be interesting to see written down. In the morning when I can access the diary I will begin to make a list.. I tend to write and think better very early hours of the morning and my thoughts are much clearer. I’m not very good with noise and background sound so it’s much easier to be a peace and write through the night. This year for our family has been great and we have had so many things around mayoral duties that have helped us meet many people and groups. Many of the groups we didn’t even know existed so it’s been a real insight. When jay became Mayor I became mayoress which was a real honour to represent our town and the people . I would do it next year in a heartbeat again I love to meet people and have been helping jay to organise events to fundraiser .I really hope I’m lucky enough to get through to elections in may so I’m able to serve on the the town council again . Unfortunately we all have to be up for election so it woo the be easy. I know that I love being part of the council as I’m able to make decisions and help with the decisions of our town.
Caleb is progressing well and being taught at home with an organisation which has been so much better for him. This process was implemented  due to his chronic fatigue. It’s been wonderful  to see how he has grown in confidence. Caleb always makes me so proud , even when learning is difficult he never complains . Caleb never gives me a hard time and he always tries in life and school and we have a great bond.. During lessons he is great and attentive and he has been doing some creative writing in the last few months. The main subjects at home he has studied has been science and mathematics and English . This is split between two teachers that come to the house Monday to Friday so two days of English and the rest of the days he has science and maths. This year Caleb has surprised me with his imagination in creative writing . The stories I really hope to find a publisher and illustrator to help with his story. I have thought about starting to find out the process so I can help calebs level of confidence and maybe if it costs a lot we could start a fundraising page like Kickstarter or something like that. I really think this could be something very special for him and maybe one day he will do much more with creative writing as he has a real flair. At the moment he has completed a short story but the next story is so much bigger . Caleb writes so detailed which is so inspiring to see what goes on in that mind of his . Considering calebs learning difficulties and dyslexia he has progressed amazingly. The teachers have really made time for his needs.

  1. Great to see how well and interesting things have been going for you, Jay and the rest of your family too. I know from seeing you in person who have a big challenge with your health but you have not allowed it to get in the way and are indeed "living and loving life".

I hope that the year to come is just as good and exciting for you all.

Heat and plenty of cold drinks to keep my energy and trying to arrange my sons education

Why is it when your life is following a great path and everything plateus out another spanner comes flying into the works? It’s been so hot and I will tell you what’s been going on recently which will explain my first sentence. So it’s been absolutely boiling I hope your all enjoying the sun 🌞 but personally it’s been rather hot for me to get comfortable at night hence being awake at 02.37 am . Mum has been to visit but bless her she has been unwell with vertigo so it’s been hard to see mum and dad but every piece of time is like a golden nugget as they live in Essex. The last few weeks it has been really difficult,  Our gorgeous son is taught by and independent teaching agency for the last two years. Everything they have done has brought our 16 year old son up to speed with other kids of his age . The way the week was set out was great and the best environment for Caleb to learn. We have been told that the education panel that funds our son won’t be funding him for the independen...

The Shock Factor Cancer , Now and Post Cancer Blues

Three years ago in  December  I was told I had breast cancer can you imagine it was those words  you don't expect to hear and always think it's someone else .  Extracts from my blog  from when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and how my husband , family my daughters and my son , friends and my sponsored children kept me ticking over .  This I felt I needed to add as I felt my calling and last year was such a shock I think I didn't write as much as I would have liked to but I have come back with avengence writing more and even now wanting to do the Live below the line challenge and I'm still here for my husband , daughters, son and friends . God obviously feels like my work isn't finished and I have more to do in this lifetime and he has plans for me. I was told just before Christmas 2013 . I had firstly gone to see my GP prompted by my husband Thursday, 5 December 2013 The beginning of a rollercoaster journey Our Family Journey as I ...
