During the weekend Children prince and Princess ball

We had a busy weekend with raising money for the charities with a ball for Prince and princesses for children . It went really well but we had a few minor technical hitches. Even though we wasn’t sure how it would go we were pleasantly surprised at the amaount of people and the great fun they had. We had a face painter lu lu facepainters .... now this is always a hit with kids and some adults who like to join in the fun. We had been sponsored by Tesco’s so that was perfect as they made food for the children and coffees and cakes for parents. Magic mirror parties princess sang like a dream and entertained over 30 children . The  church were amazing and sue Milton managed to work everything to a dream with a drop screen for music for the additional time where the princess had to leave.  . The church venue did us proud as it was the nearest to replicating the inside of a castle especially for kids . It’s a large social space so it was perfect for this event . In the corner we had a company called Studio 66 that did posed pics with a fabulous background like being in a palace with a set of amazing stairs as a backing photos. My very good friend Magda who is a great photographer helped me out and took some pics of the day. Wow it was just so incredible . The kids were all happy with beaming smiling faces looking back at us all.

 More to come as I need to rest as my chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia set in so I best break and see you all tommorow . Come back and follow the days and what we have been doing

The Shock Factor Cancer , Now and Post Cancer Blues

Three years ago in  December  I was told I had breast cancer can you imagine it was those words  you don't expect to hear and always think it's someone else .  Extracts from my blog  from when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and how my husband , family my daughters and my son , friends and my sponsored children kept me ticking over .  This I felt I needed to add as I felt my calling and last year was such a shock I think I didn't write as much as I would have liked to but I have come back with avengence writing more and even now wanting to do the Live below the line challenge and I'm still here for my husband , daughters, son and friends . Weekend

Well the weekend has been nice and a little calmer than it’s been but it’s still unsettled as the house still needs to finished and we are into the 6 th week. Jays dad is coming over for dinner and we have our granddaughter as my daughter has gone to Alton towers and you know what there like . I never remember going places like my daughter and not having my kids with me. The kids become important and they come before me . As you may know we have 4 kids ....3 daughters and one Son . Our son is the only one that lives at home with us and the girls have there own lives. My granddaughter Evie-mae is having a great time today playing minecraft and singing Ed sheeran songs. Today the flooring chap was supposed to arrive to latex the floor ahead of this Monday. We have waited all morning and it’s now 12.15 but he hasn’t arrived yet .
