This week relaxing and working through Netflix

I’ve been poorly for some time now and it’s been wonderful to have the usage of Netflix . I have had a bad few months since our return from Hungary. I’m not sure if it’s because I was depressed about coming home . I know I have been harbouring a cold which turned into an infection that I can’t shake of . My asthma has been a little out of control and curiosly up and down and my peak flow has been low but I have already had antibiotics and steroids. Anyway thanks to Netflix I have watched the complete series of  the following titles.

1 Top Of The lake

Top of the Lake is set in the beautiful picturesque country of New Zealand . The series is about a detective Robin Griffin who becomes obsessed with the safety of of a young girl called Tui . Suspicions arise when Robin suspect the father of abuse . In an attempt to help  Tui she tries to reach out to her in the best way possible . Tui the young 12 year old goes missing and the case is stepped up in and attempt to find her . Towards the end of the case you realise how in depth and unexpected the case becomes. This is followed by the sequel series Top of The Lake China Girl.

2 Homeland

I’ve ploughed my through series  1 and midway through series  2 . Its quite an addictive series that I keep wanting to watch one after the other. Homeland the series based on United States national security. CIA agent Carrie Mathison follows the return of Sargeant Brody a marine who was captured and been in captivity and then returned to the USA after 8 years. Brodys  home life has differed after 8 years as Brody wife thinks he has passed away. After a number of years she begins a relationship with Brodys friend so he is shocked to see this . Carrie mathison a CIA agent is obsessed with the actions of Brody and thinks he has come home as a turned marine and turned to terrorism.. Brody home is bugged for a period of time and after the time is up on this and all bugs removed  Carrie goes out of her way to follow her instincts. This  starts of her manic bipolar and instead of trusting her judgements Carrie is dismissed from her job . Is Carrie right !! try and tune in to the episodes and see what happens it certainly keeps you gripped to the story.

I havnt written for sometime and feel this need to do a year catch up

This year has been the busiest year but we have met some wonderful people along the way . Jay became Mayor in may of last year 2017 -2018 so it’s been so busy and our schedule as a couple has increased. My fatigue has been very much out of control and I have had to rest to maintain my energy. Generally I just needed to pace myself and take time out and rest occasionally. My health has increasingly been frustrating but it’s one of those things . I get up and start the day and think for that day but it’s always with a struggle but most days I have to stay positive . I will give an update of events that we have undertaken throughout the year which will be interesting to see written down. In the morning when I can access the diary I will begin to make a list.. I tend to write and think better very early hours of the morning and my thoughts are much clearer. I’m not very good with noise and background sound so it’s much easier to be a peace and write through the night. This year for our fam...

Why is it when your life is following a great path and everything plateus out another spanner comes flying into the works? It’s been so hot and I will tell you what’s been going on recently which will explain my first sentence. So it’s been absolutely boiling I hope your all enjoying the sun ๐ŸŒž but personally it’s been rather hot for me to get comfortable at night hence being awake at 02.37 am . Mum has been to visit but bless her she has been unwell with vertigo so it’s been hard to see mum and dad but every piece of time is like a golden nugget as they live in Essex. The last few weeks it has been really difficult,  Our gorgeous son is taught by and independent teaching agency for the last two years. Everything they have done has brought our 16 year old son up to speed with other kids of his age . The way the week was set out was great and the best environment for Caleb to learn. We have been told that the education panel that funds our son won’t be funding him for the independen...
